Whatever the image is, it should tell a story that awes and inspires, but leaves the viewer wanting.

Alice E Burns

From a young age Alice was captivated with the natural world around her. She grew up in a small town at the foot of the Adirondack Mountains, New York, where she spent many summers exploring.

When Alice picked up a DSL camera and began photographying birds for the local bird photography calendar her passion for photographing wildlife and nature really took off.

It was the exploration of birds (and the honor of having several each selected for the bird calendar, that led Alice to share her photos with family and friends as a daily image. Viewing an image uplifts and inspires one, even for just a few seconds. It is a nice way to say hello.

Alice’s photography is the product of her adventurous nature - it’s the physical representation of her love of nature and wildlife, and the journeys taken to realize that love.
